Think you don’t have enough time to organize your home? This blog post proves that even the time-strapped can squeeze in a few minutes here and there to chip away at it! A good place to begin is with drawer organizing. Here, I started with a messy underwear/sock drawer.
Ikea makes some lovely little fabric drawer insert boxes (about $6 for a set of six multi-sized boxes) that work well for just this purpose! In JUST 12 MINUTES, I sorted, decluttered and discarded anything ratty, and then containerized the keepers.
Note: I NEVER recommend folding underwear. It’s simply a waste of time. Just toss it in!
Bras are folded and placed upright. Socks sorted into three categories: everyday socks, athletic short socks, and cozy sleep socks. That’s it. It couldn’t be easier. Now you give it a try. One drawer at a time, 12 minutes at a time, you’ll get your home organized with a little patience and perseverance!
