Tip #1: Pare down and think seasonally: Cull your collection, and toss or donate shoes that no longer fit, are out of style, or are past their prime. Then, pull out shoes that are not currently in season (you won’t need flip flops or sandals in winter, nor boots in the summer) and move those shoes into storage.
